Show Three-lady best ball tournament hold by Ladies Golf Ass'n. At the regular Wednesday morning meeting of the Cedar Ce-dar City Ladies Golf Association Associa-tion a three-lady best ball tournament was featured. A team consisting of Jean Eied-erman, Eied-erman, Helen Jensen, and Sandy Haug'hton tied with one composed of Kay Wilkinson Wilkin-son and Maudell Smith. This resulted in a sudden death playoff in which the team of Biederman, Jensen, and Haughton emerged victorious. Previous to the tournament, Brent Orchard, Cedar City golf pro, conducted the second sec-ond in a series of free lessons on golfing fundamentals. These lessons will continue as part of the activities of the ladies' golf association. Although members are under un-der no obligation to participate partici-pate in the planned activities of tournaments, all are urged to come out and play during the reserved time set up for the ladies of 9-12 on Wednesdays. This will insure the continued exclusive use of the course by ladies at these hours, A blind bogey, tournament tourna-ment is planned for the meet-ing meet-ing to be held on Wednesday, June 9. |
