The pretty foursome Included Margaret Mae Fawson, of St. George, and fiuiann Dickson, of Morgan, both 17, who gave in-dlrldual in-dlrldual demonstrations, and Judy Ann Yonk, 18, and Barbara. Sorensen, 19. both of Mendon, who were winning team demonstrators. demon-strators. Congress Trip Winner Miss Fawson was awarded an expense-paid trip to the National 4-H Club Congress in Chicago for her demonstration on how to bake a Viennese strlesel, a sweetened dough braided bread containing nuts, raisins, and candied can-died fruit. Beaten Batter Bread Mlsa Dickson won a $50 U.S. sarUigs bond for a demonstration demonstra-tion entitled "Beaten Batter Bread." A Junior leader of the Cook-ett's Cook-ett's 4-H Club, she has won state blue ribbons for her baking powder and drop biscuits. Team Winners The award winning team demonstration dem-onstration for Mis Yonk and Miss Sorensen was "Breads of Mnny Lands." Both girls received receiv-ed $50 savings bonds. Miss Yonk Is assistant leader nd Miss Sorensen Junior leader of the Four Clovers 4-11 Club. Standard Brands provides all awards in tbls program, which Is under tho direction of the Cooperative Extension Service. Among the visitors at the city zoo were a man and his cousin from the mountain country. The grizzled mountaineer stooi :-" bound s he viewed the giraffes, elephants and various other animals ani-mals and birds. It was with reluctance reluc-tance that he left one cage to go to another. As they came to the monkey 'cage, however, our friend paused ,for only a moment, then has-tended has-tended away. I "What's the hurry?' asked his companion, who liked to watch the monkeys.
