Show Virgil Jolley To Celebrate 80th Birthaday Family, friends and neighbors are invited to join Virgil H. Jolley in celebrating his 80th birthday with an open house on Sunday, May 26 from 2 until 6 p.m. at their home, 57 South 700 East, Spanish Fork. He is one of 13 children born to Henry and Mable Jolley in Tropic. He married Nelda Chynoweth Dec. 28, 1932. They are parents of 10 children: Neldon Jolley, Enterprise; Marie Barney and Max Jolley, St. George ; Harvey Jolley, Payson; Dale Jolley, Magna; Karel Hill, Sandy; Ned Jolley, Orem; Maxine Rose, Bill Jolley and Monna Mae Thomas, Spanish Fork. They have 34 grandchildren grand-children and 35 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. A farmer and cattle rancher, Jolley moved to Benjamin in 1951, moving again with his family to West Mountain in 1965. When he retired in 1974, he and his wife moved to Payson, and settled in their present home in Spanish Fork in 1979. Both active in the LDS church, he and his wife were temple workers in Provo until poor health forced them to resign. They look forward to meeting again the many friends they have made in the several communities in which they have lived over the years. |
