Show - Panguitch Patter - for the Panguitch Third Ward meeting. Youth speaker was Charleen Crosby and Christian Matthews reported on the fathers and sons outing. Joy Richards and son Jimmy, Salt Lake City were in town a few days last week where they visited Joy's' sisters Blanche Pendleton, Quinn Richards, Floyd Richards, and Ingra Richards. On Thursday Ingra, Joy and Jimmy went to St. George and Zion National Park. James Sargeant had knee surgery in St. George and is improving nicely. Delsie Montaque, Antimony attended at-tended the Graduates Tea Sunrinv evening where she was honored as one of the adult candidates for graduation. She is the wife of Carlos Montaque and a cousin to Earl Roe, Beverly Crosby and Wynona Sevy. Judy Hemic Mamie Talbot visited with her son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Talbot in Sandy and helped out while Lyle's wife Kathy had surgery. On the way home Mamie stopped in Orem and visited her son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Talbot, and attended the birthday party of her granddaughter Danelle. She then went to Enoch to visit her son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Talbot and attended the baptism of granddaughter Maegan, who was baptized by her father. Dr. and Mrs. E. Terry Henrie took his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ercil Henrie to Salt Lake City where Ercil had some testing done on his heart. Dr. and Mrs. Henrie went on to Ogden where he attended a seminar. Ercil will go back to Salt Lake City in a week and have open-heart surgery. Visiting recently with Mr. and Mrs. Ercil Henrie have been their daughter Nila Rae Leavitt, and granddaughter Emma Lee Leavitt of Las Vegas. They visited before her father went to Salt Lake City. Twelve people from the Panguitch First Ward traveled to the cannery in Cedar City where they canned pork and beans. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Daly have been Beth Hurst, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Guymon, St. George and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Nechville. Beth and the Guymons also visited Alice Ipson at the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Dan Frandsen have been in Salt Lake City getting supplies for their floral shop. Mr. and Mrs. Val Church, Murray visited with his mother Kate Church and his brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Clem Church. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Johnson, Fredonia, Ariz, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Nichols and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Riggs and Elizabeth Foy attended the LDS temple in St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Darel Crofts, Richfield Rich-field visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hatch over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Dalton, Richfield visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Miles Barney. Visiting Merle Stowell was Rachel Anderson, Tremonton. Rachel lived with Merle and nursed at the hospital a few years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hardy, Roseburg, Ore. visited her sister and husband. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sandin and her brothers and their wives, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Miller, and Ned Miller Mr. and Mrs. Carl Morris took their daughter Carleen Riding, Kanab to Salt Lake City where she will enter the LDS Hospital for some tests. Visiting with the Morrises for a week were their neighbors from Arizona, Mr and Mrs. Robert Spotswood, Denver, Colo. They visited Bryce and Zion's then returned home to Colorado where they spend the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Bud Bowman are in Las Vegas where they welcomed a new grandson to their daughter Sheri and her husband. Opal Norton brought her s:ster Lida Owens home from the hospital in Salt Lkae City after Lida had a cornea transplant. Opal also visited with her daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Goulding and attended at-tended the graduation tea for her grandson Rip Goulding. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jolley have been her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wilson and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jolley, Tropic. They attended at-tended the graduation tea for their grandson Earl and LaVerne's mother Laura Wilson who, as an adult graduate will also be graduating from Panguitch High School this month. Mr. and Mrs. Collier Allen, Centerville visited in town over the weekend. Collier was born and reared in Panguitch. The Panguitch LDS First Ward held its father and sons outing at Lake Powell over the weekend, while the Third Ward had its father and sons outing at Kodachrome Park. Christopher Smith, the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. (Jolene) Smith had surgery at the Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City and is now home doing fine. He is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sevy. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sevy have been their son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Sevy, Santa Clara and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Davis, Phoenix, Ariz. Richard and his wife flew in to pick up his Blazer at Allen Ford Sales. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Owens are parents of their first child, a baby girl, Falyn Rai, born May 15. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Glen Owens and Richard Miller. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Evans were visiting in town over the weekend at their home, the former Jess Cherrington home. Mrs. Evans is the former Beth Cherrington. Ranae Nolan returned home following heart surgery in Salt Lake City. Her mother of Orem is here with her helping out. Nida Pollock is home after undergoing un-dergoing surgery in Salt Lake City. Jan Frandsen is laid up at home with a broken ankle. She was in Cedar City when she stepped off the curb, breaking two of the bones. She had surgery in Cedar City and they had to put two pins in it. Merrill Allen, Kingston and Keith Barben, Marysvale were speakers at the Panguitch Second Ward meeting. Casey Howard was a youth speaker and Eileen McKee played a musical number on the flute.
