Before Justice Daggett, on the 13th inst., Attorney Geo. R. Lund sued Jos. Fuller for $23.50 for legal services. A verdict was given in favor of plaintiff and judgement issued for $23.60 and costs, amounting in all to $33.60. Edwin Jones of Gunloek was in the city Friday. He reports quite a number num-ber of people of Gunloek sick with severe colds. The boys of that place are shipping large numbers of quails to Del.amar. About eight inches of snow fell on the 10th inst. M. M. narmon had to dismiss the school of which he is teacher on the 13th inst. owing to a severe cold settle-ing settle-ing in his eyes and rendering him nearly blind. School was resumed Wednesday morning, and Mr. Harmon's Har-mon's eyes are improving. Quite a number of sick people in Washington. Among the most serious cases are: Mrs. Tilt, pleuro-pneu-monia: Henry Everett, a boy about 5 or 6 years old, severe case of grip: Lon Jones and George Prince. Dr. Aiileck has these cases under treatment, and has been in Washington the best part of the week. Some trucks and rails have been brought down from Silver Reef and will be used for moving the large pieces of rock for the new school building. Adams Son are putting the rails in shape, and it is intended to lay them through the building, so that the large pieces of rock may be hoisted from inside in-side the building.
