The Fourth of July celebration this year at Cripple Creek will equal if not exceed the demonstration of a year ago, Avhen 40,00') strangers visited the i district. The railroad companies haA-e I made a cheap rate and will co-operate with the Fourth of July committee in I making this affair the largest Fourth I of July demonstration in the state. An entertaining programme has been prepared, pre-pared, consisting of tournaments of A-arious kinds, coAvboy races, roping contests, balloon and automobile races. The celebration will run three days and arrangements have been made to comfortably com-fortably care for eve tion on Fourth of July will be delivered deliv-ered by President BoA-ce of the Western West-ern Federation of Miners. Cripple Creek and Victor will jointly celebrate. The pyrotechnic display will be a feature. Cheap rates have been given by the railroads, and the indications are that a greater croAvd Avill be present than that gathered last year. This will be the only Fourth of July celebration of any magnitude in the state thi year. All Avho attend will be comfortably cared for by the citizens' citi-zens' committee. |
