GOP women held regional meeting here The State Board of the Utah Federation of Republican Re-publican Women held one of a series of bi-annual Regional Conferences at the Ramada Inn last Saturday. The meeting was called to order by Vice Chairman Betty Bowen, before being be-ing turned over to President Presi-dent Lois Pickett. State members in attendance at the gathering included Beth Lowe, First Vice President, Ogden; Beppy Gibbons, third vice president, presi-dent, Blanding; Evelyn Lomax, campaign "chairman, "chair-man, Nephi; Norma Ihers, new founders chairman. Sandy & Penny Coffman, Moab, parliamentarian. Committee reports were given by the chairmen with emphasis on a New Founders campaign and appointing a chairman for new members between the ages of 18 and 35. The next State Board meeting will be held Nov. 11 in Tooele. The next regular meeting of the Grand County Republican Women will be held at noon on Oct. 19 ut the Ramnda Inn. All interested interest-ed women lire invited to attend.
