Show Funeral Services Held for Isaac Carlson Funeral services for Isaac Carlson, who died suddenly July 12th, were held in the stake tabernacle Thursday Thurs-day at 2 p. m. with Bishop Frank D. Atwood in charge and conducts j ing. The opening number was a duet "Oh My Father" by Stella Hardman and Viola Beers, Reva W. Fugal at the organ and accompanist accompan-ist for all musical numbers. President Presi-dent W. W.. Warnick gave the opening open-ing prayer followed with a solo "A Perfect Day" by Virginia Jacobs, a granddaughter. A short biography of the deceased de-ceased was read by his granddaughter, grand-daughter, Mrs. Ruth Cook. Speakers were, President M. S. Christiansen, Patriarch Abel John Evans of Lehi, and Andrew Jensen, assistant church historian and boyhood boy-hood friend. Closing remarks and words of appreciation were given by Bishop Atwood. Leone Told and Ethel W. Carlson sang "Consolation", and the closing song "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" was rendered by Mrs. Beers and Mrs. Hardman. The benediction was offered by Counselor W. W. Lim and the grave at the City cemetery was dedicated by Niels Fugal, a nephew. o |
