Show Greatest Array Of Floats Now Assured for Day uringie past years American Fork has gained a state-wide reputation repu-tation for the excellency of its parades, pa-rades, which have been both colorful color-ful and impressive. This year Willi be no exception, since the parade as planned will far outdo any other of its kind ever attempted. Under the direction of John H. Miller and the committee members a most interesting interest-ing parade is assured. The colorful floats being prepared for the Queen and Miss American Fork are unique as well as beautiful. Gold and white will decorate the Queen's float while blue and white will be used on the Miss American Fork float. This latter float will be entered in the Pioneer Day celebration cele-bration parade in Salt Lake City, tomorrow. The various business houses in town are preparing lavishly lavish-ly and beautifully decorated floats for the big event. Eight bands will be included in the line of march. They will be so placed in the parade that the strains of music will be heard the entire length of the long procession. And what would a parade be without with-out its comic section? This year one of the most humerous sections ever attempted here will be presented present-ed for the hearty approval of the public. Advance reports from Mrs. John Beck, chairman of the comic section, give rise to the prediction that this year's comics will top any ever presented here. Everyone contacted con-tacted for this section of the parade has responded heartily for the call of more and better comics. Assembling of the parade will take place on First East between Main and First North. The line of march will be west along Main street to the Phillip Greene corner; doubling back to the Owl Inn where disbanding dis-banding will take place. The parade will be divided into four sections: First, Poultry Section; Sec-tion; Second, American Fork Section; Sec-tion; Third, Miscellaneous; and Fourth, Comics.
