Show u D.U.P. SILVER TEA VERY SUCCESSFUL Under the direction of the Adams and the American Fork camps, the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers of American Fork put over a very successful suc-cessful Silver Tea Wednesday afternoon. after-noon. The tea was held in the Legion Le-gion hall which was attractively decorated dec-orated with baskets and bowls of lovely summer flowers. A large crowd enjoyed the excellent program pro-gram and the dainty refreshments which were served. The purpose of the tea was to obtain ob-tain funds with which to help build the D. U. P. building for the preservation pres-ervation of Pioneer keepsakes and antiques. During the afternoon, dances were given by Elsmore Bush, Rayola Draper Dra-per and Lucille Walker. Musical numbers were furnished by a trio composed of Selma Seastrand, Mildred Mil-dred Anderson and Elaine Smith. Mrs. Jennie Chadwick played several sev-eral harmonica selections; Mrs. Le-ona Le-ona Anderson and Miss Mildred Anderson An-derson sang a duet, "Rock a Bye Baby"; and readings were given by Mrs. Jarvis Aydelotte and Mrs. Mary Abel. o |
