Show LEGION ELECTS NEW OFFICERS At a meeting Thursday evening of the local post of the American Legion, new officers for the coming year were elected and various business busi-ness matters discussed. The roof of the Legion building is in need of repair, it was reported. Sidney' Beck and Earl Barratt were appointed to obtain materials and attend to the repairing of the roof. Arrangements for a float to be entered in the annual an-nual Poultry Day parade were made and Sidney Beck, Ed. Moss and Wilbur Wil-bur Huggard were appointed to make the arrangements for the building of the float. H. E. McNielL Sidney Beck, Jack Iverson and Phillip Greene were elected as delegates to attend the Department Convention in Price on August 5, 6 and 7. The following officers were elected elect-ed for the coming year: Sidney Beck, commander; Phillip Greene, first vice commander; Wilbur Huggard, Hug-gard, second vice commander; Jack Iverson, adjutant; Earl Barratt, sergeant-at-arms; H. E. McNiell, chaplain; John Meiliteitich and Ted Graff, color bearers. J |
