Show Government Pays Utah Farmers , One Million! Farmers of Utah, have been paid more than one million dollars during dur-ing the past year by the Agricultural Agricul-tural Adjustment Administration for their participation in the conservation conserva-tion program, according to LeRoy C. Funk, state secretary of the A A A. This figure includes payments up to July 15 for the 1936 crop year. The net amount paid directly to the cooperating farmers was $924,-405.29, $924,-405.29, and the remainder was paid for organization expenses, most of which went back to committeemen comprised of farmers, Mr. Funk said.
