Show Local Youth Injured In Accident In attempting to pass a car on the loop road just this side of the divide in American Fork canyon Sunday evening, the car driven by Lambert Kitchen, son of L. R. Kitchen, Kitch-en, skidded in the loose gravel and fell over the embankment. The car rolled down the hill about 30 or 40 feet and lodged against a tree. Miss Cleon Jensen, a passenger in the car, was thrown clear and escaped with minor cuts and bruises. Kitchen, Kitch-en, however, remained in the car. He suffered a fractured rib and was badly cut and bruised. A passing car picked the couple up and brought them to the hospital. Mr. Kitchen and Miss Jensen had driven up Provo canyon and were coming down the loop road, when the accident occurred. Charles Strasburg, 19, of Highland, High-land, received a broken leg Tuesday evening, when his motorcycle skidded skid-ded in the loose gravel just above the lower power plant in American Fork canyon. He crawled down to the power plant and some of the men there brought him to the hospital. |
