Show LAFOIUT Mrs. Mable Jenkins EASTER PARTY Mrs. Mable Jenkins took her beginners Primary class to her home for an Easter egg hunt on the lawn. They were served cookies and eggs. Mr. and Mrs. Thurmer Rasmussen Ras-mussen attended the funeral services of Lou Woodard on Monday, in Vernal. Mrs. Joan Morrill and baby cared for the home of her parents, par-ents, while her mother was in Salt Lake City with her father, Bishop Lee Walker, who had an operation last week. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer (Dutch) Huber, are happy grandparents of a baby girl, born April 12 to Mr. and Mrs. Berlin Jensen, of Brigham City. This is their first grandchild. Myrna Taylor, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Taylor, and family. Ronald Cook, of Roosevelt, was a visitor of Mrs. Sarah Norton, Nor-ton, Friday evening. Reyma Horrocks and children, child-ren, of Vernal, visited Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Horrocks and family, fam-ily, and Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Horrocks and family, during the week. Harvey (Ki) Lee, of Artesia, Color., visited his mother, Mrs. Rhoda Ann Lee, recently. Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Ottosen, of Provo, spent last weekend with Mrs. Ottosen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orvill Swain, and family. Mrs. Orpha Kump was a visitor vis-itor at her daughter's home, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Angus, and family, of Roosevelt, Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Zeth Lee, of Ogden, his mother, Rhoda Ann Lee, and sister, Vera Bigelow, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Law-rence Lee and family and Mr. and Mrs. Homer Lee and family, fam-ily, of Artesia, Colo., recently. Sike Thompson and son, Sammy, Sam-my, made a business trip to Arizona, recently. , Miss Joyce Labrum went to Craig, Colo., to visit her sister, Charmane, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lou Wyman. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Harvey and family, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with Mrs. Harvey's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Rasmussen and family. Weldon Woolley, of Sidney, Neb., returned home, after having hav-ing an accident in the oil fields some time ago. He is visiting with friends and relatives in Rangely, Colo., at present. Mrs. Ethel Taylor and Mrs. John Daniels went to Altamont Friday, to the Uintah Basin Activities Ac-tivities Day. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Horrocks of Midvale, were visiting relatives rela-tives and friends in Lapoint, during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Huber and Mrs. Ardith Huber took Lynn's son, Ray, to Salt Lake City to an ear specialist. Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Walker and Mrs. Vonda Bigelow went to Salt Lake City, Sunday morning to visit Bishop L. J. Walker, who has had two operations op-erations the past two weeks in the LDS Hospital. Mrs. Bigelow Bige-low will visit a sister, Mrs. Golden Gol-den Merkley, who also is in the LDS Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Long and daughter, of Duchesne, were overnight guests, Saturday, Satur-day, of Mrs. Long's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Bigelow, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Harrison Harri-son and family, of Copperfield, Bingham Canyon, visited Frank Jenkins, Saturday. |
