Show 20 Attending Kindergarten Kindergarten started last Wednesday for twenty young-hopefuls. young-hopefuls. Classes are held from nine until twelve o'clock each school day, under the supervision of Lecta Horrocks. Hor-rocks. Sherene Henrie represented the Union High School at Price last Wednesday in the second year typing division. Alex Wilkerson and his children chil-dren have moved into the house on the Thad Wilkerson farm. Mrs. LaVell Horrocks spent the past week in Salt Lake City with relatives. Among the local members who attended the meeting of the Hi-Land Dairy in Salt Lake City last week were Charles Crozier, Clyde Hacking, Joe Malnar and James Hamblin. Mr. and Mrs. James Rhoades returned home last week after spending the winter in Arizona. Frank Whitmore made a trip to Salt Lake City last week for medical attention. ENTERTAINS FAMILY Mrs. Emma Wimmer has been busy entertaining members of her family during the past week. Two sons, Acel Wimmer, of Ogden, and June Wimmer, of Salt Lake City, visited here recently. A sister, Mrs. Myrna Childs, of St. Johns, Tooele County, was a guest here for a few days. Two daughters, Mrs. Ella Stringham, of Vernal, and Mrs. Eva Bellon, of Roosevelt, enjoyed a visit with their mother, moth-er, while helping with her spring house-cleaning. Mrs. Clifton Jenkins, who is employed at the Hi-Land Dairy plant in Murray, spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Deone Spencer. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jensen and two daughters were visitors in Salt Lake City last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jensen and two daughters, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend here, to celebrate Easter. They also proudly displayed the newst addition ad-dition to their -family, the first grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Jensen to bear the family name. Mr. and Mrs. Brent Nickell and daughters, of Price, spent the weekend visiting in Neola and Roosevelt. Lawrence Olsen, of Mona, has been visiting here with his brother, John. Mr. and Mrs. Cleon Allred, of Salt Lake City, spent Sunday Sun-day in Neola. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Malnar, of Salt Lake City, visited relatives rela-tives here over the weekend. Mrs. -Ada Hutcheon and two sons, of Salt Lake City, enjoyed Easter Sunday here with relatives rela-tives and friends. Guests at the Glenn Davis home last Sunday included Mr. and Mrs. Scott Nickell. Mr. and Mrs. Max Horrocks and two daughters, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend at the Theron Horrocks home. |
