Show Easter Program The Sunday School Easter program was put on Sunday morning. Speakers were Kathleen Kath-leen Mower, Karen Nelson, Mrs. Evelyn Roberts and Wayne Brown. "I Stand All Amazed" and "I Know That My Redeemer Re-deemer Lives," were sung by Rose Brown, Bettie Mower, Ruth Hamblin, Sandra Powell, Enid Brown, Gwena Boren and Inez Brown. Weekend visitors at the Melvin Mel-vin R. Mower home were, Mr. and Mrs. Don Lougee and daughter, Bonnie Kay, of Logan; Log-an; Mrs. Phoebe C. Litster, of Salt Lake , City; and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Litster and family, of Vernal. Miss Loene Powell, employed in Salt Lake Citv. spent the weekend at home with her parents. par-ents. Mrs. Melvin Mower and daughters, Bettie, Shirley and Cheryl Ann, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Lougee and daughter, Bonnie Bon-nie Kay, visited in Ioka, Saturday, Satur-day, at the Bradley Cloward home. Miss Arlene Parry, at present working in Salt Lake City, spent the weekend at home with her parents. Boyd Powell and Connell Parry, both attending school in Provo, spent the weekend at home. The baby daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Lougee was blessed bless-ed after Sunday School, Sunday by Don Lougee. She was given the name of Bonnie Kay. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Pulley and daughter, Joan, of Kaysville; Mr and' Mrs. Gerald Mitchell and Mrs. Vernetta Mitchell, of Upalco. and Miss Laray Jordan, of Duchesne, spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Mitchell Mitch-ell Among those from here going to Altamont to Uintah Basin Activities Ac-tivities Day on Friday, April 16th were: Rosalee Brown, Enid Brown Bettie Mower, Sandra Powell, Sam Anderton, Karen Nelson, Wayne Brown, Karen Woodward and Lila Jean Blanchard. . Mr. and Mrs. Claude Iorg, of Upalco, spent Friday with Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Mitchell. We would like to welcome the George Hunt and Marley Hamblin families back to Montwel, Mont-wel, after being away all winter. |
