Show LeetorioBeniietf Mrs. Fern Houston Mrs. Doris Haslem and Mrs. Joyce Bolton entertained the Secret Pal Club at the Haslem home, Saturday evening Mrs. Glenn Wahlquist gave a lecture and picture slides from the many places she has traveled with her husband in Europe. Mr. Wahlquist works for the government in the Point-Four plary A dainty lunch was served the theme being Easter. Appropriate Appro-priate gifts were exchanged by 14 guests. Mrs. Otis Horrocks and son, Byron, who has been home on a two weeks leave from his base in California, went to Salt Lake to visit Mrs. Phyllis Jensen Jen-sen and Mrs. Ha Allred, sisters of Mrs. Horrocks, before Byron went to' camp on Thursday. Mrs. Kelvin Williams, of Salt Lake City, has been here the past week, visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Bolton. Mr. Williams came Sunday and the family returned to their home. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Tidwell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Springer and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Perkins, of Altamont; Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lucas, of Hill Field, motored to the Dinosaur Din-osaur National Monument for an Easter outing and picnic. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lindley, of Provo, were weekend guests of the J. A. Houstons, returning home Sunday evening. . The girls of the ward entertained enter-tained the boys at a party at the home of Roy Springer Wednesday Wed-nesday evening. Thirty - four boys and girls played games' by bonfires and later enjoyed a lunch at the Springer home. Mrs. Joyce Bolton, leader of the Larks, and Mrs. Nellie Horrocks, Hor-rocks, leader of the Blue Birds, took their girls for an Easter hike and picnic on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. John Houston, o f Provo, motored out to spend the day at the home of J. A. Houston. The families of Ray Houston, of Whiterocks, George Houston, Carl Lindley of Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Harm-ston Harm-ston were Easter dinner guests. Dan Mitchell and John Horrocks Hor-rocks went to Salt Lake last week. Mr. Horrocks received medical attention. |
