Dart, and Mrs Milton Nielson attend-.j attend-.j , hridal shower honoring Mrs Golden Butterworth, Saturday Sat-urday afternoon at the ranch home of the bride's parents, Mr and Mrs. Vernon Edwards. Mrs Euttcrworth is the former Carol Ann Jenkins, and has been residing in Salt Lake City for several months, being employed em-ployed there. Mr and Mrs. Lavar Peterson and family left Sunday for Pasco, Pas-co, Washington, where they will remain for some time attending attend-ing to property interests in that vicinity. Felix Quintana returned on Wednesday night from a three-weeks' three-weeks' vacation trip to Mexico. He accompanied his son-in-law, Ray Ortego, and son, Paul, who returned with him to Myton and remained here for a short visit. Mrs. W. E. Burttfn, Mrs. I. R. Tuttle, Mrs. Wm. R. Harris and Miss Alice Todd attended church services at the Presbyterian Presby-terian church in Vernal on Easter Eas-ter Sunday. They visited during dur-ing the afternoon at the home of Mrs. W. H. Koehler, a former Myton resident. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Bingham and family, of Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Bingham and children, of Salt Lake City, were weekend visitors at the home of Mrs. Ole Peterson and son, Franklyn. They were joined join-ed on Easter Sunday by Mr. and Mrs. Aldon Fenn and family for a family picnic. Windy weather forced them to return to town to continue their picnic on the Peterson lawn. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hart, of Grand Junction, Colo., visited Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, Saturday, enroute to Duchesne for a few days visit at the home of their uncle and aunt. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart. Mrs. Darrell Dean, of Salt Lake City, was an Easter Sunday Sun-day visitor at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn C. Dean. Mr. and Mrs John Uresk and children, Mr. .and Mrs. Antone Uresk and family and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Uresk and children enjoyed an Easter Sunday picnic pic-nic on Upper Strawberry River. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd and son, Alan, Bobbie Allen, Gerald-ine Gerald-ine Richardson, Danny and Skip Richardson were members of a picnic party on the lower Duchesne river on Easter Sun. Mr. and Mrs. P. E. Church and Mr. and Mrs. George Funk spent Easter on Greenriver near Ouray to try their luck at fishing. fish-ing. They report poor success. Mr. and Mrs. James Summers of Eureka, California were visitors vis-itors Wednesday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Neilson. Mr. Summers is a half-brother to Mr. Neilson and is a former resident of this district. Mrs. Ray Thompson and Mrs. Leland Hadden and children went to' Salt Lake City Friday. Mrs. 'Thompson will attend the Jehovah's Witnesses Memorial of the Pass-Over services while there. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Porritt were daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Fulmer and family of Salt Lake City. Dinner guests on Easter Sunday Sun-day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart of Duchesne, Mr. and Mrs. Del Combs of Talmage and Mr. and Mrs, Fred Hart of Grand Junction, Colorado to celebrate the 65th wedding anniversary an-niversary of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Smith and daughters Darlene and Mrs. Carl Harrison and family participated par-ticipated in an Easter Sunday picnic in Uintah canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Monks and children, Calvin Monks, Mr. and Mrs.A. C. Talboe, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Giles and family, Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Cooper and children and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Liddell and family enjoyed an Easter Sunday outing in Ninemile. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Thomas and daughter, Mrs. Calvin Monks and children were called to Price, Sunday, by the serious j illness of Mr. Thomas' mother. Mrs. Monks and children return-' return-' ed home Monday while her Uparents remained in Price. |
