Show Mrs. Garda Seeley Ward Gold-Green Ball Successful The annual Gold and Green kail was held on Wednesday, Jan 10. The theme was "Winter Wonderland." The hall was beautifully decorated with Xmas trees covered with snow and lighted with blue lights, with a tar studded ceiling Drawings on the walls depicted snow covered cov-ered mountains and winter sports. The queen was Ardis Goodrich Good-rich with Udell Winkler as Prince Charming. The attend-1 ints were Lucy Powell and Wane Workman, Marva Atwood and Orland Murray, Afton Smithson and Melvin Bird, Beth Winkler and Rex Clark, Marilyn Mar-ilyn Goodrich and Aullen Lar-sen Lar-sen Maxine Winkler and Bruce Goodrich, Bessie Lisonbee and Larry Bristol. 1 The group presented a lovely floor show, followed by the crowning of the queen. A farewell party was held - Saturday evening honoring four boys who left Monday morning to enter military service Vern Bird, of Bluebell, Arnold Powell, Pow-ell, Raymond Lister and Leon Atwood, of Mt. Mrs. Ewell is Mrs. Washburn's and Mrs. Powell's mother. The Washburns returned home Sunday, Sun-day, while Mrs. Ewell remained for a longer visit with the Powell Pow-ell family. Mrs. Vivian Powll entertained Friday in honor of her mother, i Mrs. Ewell. Mrs. Berniece At-! wood and Mrs. Zelia Goodrich were guests. Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Bird and daughter, of Vernal, visited here Saturday with Doyle's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bird. They also attended the farewell party for Doyle's brother, Vern Bird.
