Show Rev. Hogben At Pennsylvania Training School Among those called to active duty with the U. S. Army in the present emergency is Chaplain Chap-lain (Captain) Joseph F. Hogben, Hog-ben, missionary priest of Indian field, Whiterocks, Utah. Chaplain Chap-lain Hogben is now -at The Chaplain School, Carlisle Barracks, Bar-racks, Pa., prior to reporting to his new duty assignment at Fort Ord, Calif. The Chaplain School, where both Army and Air Force chaplains chap-lains are trained, prepares its students in the peculiar techniques tech-niques of the military chaplaincy. chap-laincy. Clergymen who returned to civilian life after service as chaplains during World War II are out of touch with the many post war developments in military organization. The school brings them up to date on these matters. After completing the five-week five-week course at The Chaplain School, Chaplain Hogben will proceed to his duty assignment. |
