Show Money Contributed To High School By Interested Groups Principal Max Dalley announces announc-es that the graduating class of 1956, upon leaving school two weeks ago, left a substantial amount of money as a gift to the school. This is the largest gift left to the school by a senior sen-ior class for a number of years. The gift amounted to $170 and was earmarked by the class to be used for the purchase of a new trophy case to display the increasing number of trophies won by the school in various fields of activity. The present trophy case has become inadequate inade-quate to hold and display the trophies to good advantage and the class recognized the need for the new case In making this year's presentation to the school. The high school received another an-other substantial cash contribution contribu-tion at the close of school. Prin cipal Dalley states. This came from the Teen Age Club, which was formed last winter and which staged fund raising activities acti-vities for a proposed Teen Age canteen which never materialized. material-ized. This club left the school $100 which it earmarked to go to-ward to-ward the purchase of a new juke box for the school. The school purchased a second hand juke box a few years ago for use at parties and small dances, but It needed replacing and the Teen Age Club felt that this money should go to such a project |
