Show I lames Hoyle, Sr. Succumbs to Heart Attack I Funeral services were held In Glenwood Utah May 28 for James Hoyle, Sr. 68, who died on May 24 of a heart attack suffered suf-fered while driving to his office. Mr. Hoyle was a prominent business and church man of Glenwood and well known in the southern Utah area. His son, James Hoyle, Jr.. Is in the insurance insur-ance business In Cedar City. Another An-other son, Richard, attended the College of Southern Utah. Originalfy from Lancashire, England, Mr. Hoyle came to the United States in 1925 from Australia Aus-tralia where he had gone as a farm laborer under the Farm Emigration Authority. Converted to the L D S Church In Australia Mr. Hoyle and his wife settled in Glenwood In 1925 where they have resided since. The same year Mr. Hoyle went into the insurance business. At the time of his death he was still active in his business and was assisted by his sons Richard and El win. Surviving are Mrs. Hoyle, three sons, James. Jr., Richard and El-win, El-win, and a daughter Mrs. DeLoy (Margaret) Brown. Elsinore; three brothers and one sister. Mr. and Mrs. Hoyle had planned plan-ned a trip to England this summer sum-mer to visit with relatives. The deceased was born in Chipping, Lancashire. England In 1888. Burial was in the Richfield cemetery. |
