Show Funeral Services Mark Passing of Cedar City Resident Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed Saturday, June 2, at the Cedar Second Ward chapel for Loretta B. Riddle Heyborne, 55, who died Tuesday, May 29 following a prolonged pro-longed illness. Prayer at the mortuary was by B. Glen Kenney. Prelude and postlude music was furnished at the services by Bernella Jones and -Roy L. Hal-versen. Hal-versen. Speakers were Walter K. Granger, Gran-ger, and Wm. R. Palmer, and remarks by Bishop Forrest Anderson, An-derson, who conducted the services. ser-vices. Sentiments were read by Leta Cowley and by Ila Bauer. Mrs. Bauer represented the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Invocation was offered by Rul-on Rul-on Knell and the benediction by Edward Matheson. Kent and Bruce Riddle, sons of the deceased, rendered a clarinet clari-net and trombone duet, "A Perfect Per-fect Day." They were accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Jones. Other musical numbers included includ-ed a solo by Bert Carpenter "I'll Never Walk Alone," and the song "Oh My Father" sung by Hazel Granger. Both were accompanied by Beth Leigh. Dedication of the grave at the Cedar City cemetery was by I. E. Riddle. i Pall bearers were Kent and Bruce Riddle, Keith and Lloyd Heyborne, and two nephews of the deceased. Jack Day and Frank Laird of Wyoming. Flower girls were members of Mrs. Heyborne's Sunday School class. |
