Show Lois Gardner Recites Vows in June Rites Greeting guests at an open house Tuesday evening In honor of their daughter, Lois, who became be-came the bride of Lamond Beat-ty Beat-ty Tuesday morning in the St. George Temple, were Mr. and Mrs. Fernleigh Gardner. Mr. Beatty is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rudger Beatty of Cedar City. For the occasion the bride changed her wedding gown for a smart Nile green party dress with orchid corsage at the waist line. Mothers of the bride and bridegroom bride-groom wore navy blue crepe, j street style, dresses and white carnation corsages. I Guests served themselves from a beautifully arranged table presided pre-sided over by Viola and Mary Bryant and Wllma Manning. Claire Foster, Marlon Munford, and Dianne Beatty arranged gifts received by Neil Beatty, brother of the bridegroom. Hostesses included Lois Nay, Norma Orton, Olga Manning and Janice Lowder, sister of the bridegroom. ! Karen Alger was at the guest . book. i Both are graduates of the Cedar Ce-dar City High School. The new ! Mrs. Beatty has also graduated graduat-ed from the Excelsis Beauty School in Salt Lake City and I served a mission for the L D S ' Church. ! Mr. Beatty has served in the United States Army and is now a faculty member at the Cedar West Elementary School. ' The couple are honeymooning at Grand Canyon National park and will return' to Cedar City to make their home. Mr. Beatty will continue as an Instructor in the elementary schools for the next year, after which he contemplates con-templates returning to school to complete work for his master's degree. |
