Show FUKERAL SERVICE TODAY FOR ' ANNA H. MENDENHALL Mrs. R. Anna Huntington Men-denhall, Men-denhall, 74, widow of Thomas D. Mendenhall, died unexpectedly of a heart attack at 1:30 a. m. Tues- I: . Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted today, Thursday, at 2 p. m., in the Fourth ward chapel, under direction of J. Y. Bearnson of the Fifth ward. Friends may call at the Clyde home, 391 East Second South, before be-fore the services. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery, under direction of A. Y. Wheeler and Son mortuary. Born in Springville, January 24, (Continued on Page 2) Funeral Services For Mrs. Mendenhall (Continued from Page 1) 1874, Mrs. Mendenhall was the daughter of the early settlers, Oliver B. and Hannah M. Sanders Huntington, and was the last surviving sur-viving member of her family. On December 5, 1894, she was married to Mr. Mendenhall in the Salt Lake temple. He died in 1916. Several years later, in Oc-t Oc-t o b e r 1925, Mrs. Mendenhall moved to Salt Lake City, where she lived until 1932, at which time she returned to Springville. While in Salt Lake City she served as president of the Relief Society in the 27th ward. She has always been active in church work, having served in various capacities, including a member of the Utah stake Relief Society board, and in the presidency presi-dency of the Fourth ward Relief Society. Surviving are three duaghters and a son, Mrs. Hannah M. Clyde, Mrs. Velma M. Beveridge, Springville; Spring-ville; W. T. Mendenhall, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Florence M. Anderson, Ander-son, La Crusis, N. M.; also 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. |
