Show FORMER RESIDENT LEAVES SOON FOR MISSION FIELD Richard Ross Black, son of Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell Black of Provo, formerly of Springville, has been called to fill a mission in the Central Cen-tral States, representing the Provo Fifth ward. His farewell testimonial program pro-gram is scheduled to be held in that ward on Sunday, April 18, at 5:30 p.m. and an invitation is being extended to all Springville relatives and friends to attend. The program will include a talk by Wm. G. Black of this city, a grandfather of the departing missionary. mis-sionary. Patriarch Peter Nielson j will give a short talk as will the t f1- " I C " - if missionary and his parents. Remarks Re-marks and a reading are to be given by Mrs. Clara Boyer of Springville and Wm. T. Tew, seminary semi-nary principal will speak. Other numbers are from the Fifth ward in Provo. Elder Black is a graduate of the Springville high school and also the Springville Seminary. He went into the service from Springville and served from 1943 to 1946. |
