Show Riding Club Plans Rodeo Show for the house and his 30-30 rifle. He returned just in time to see the bear and her cubs hi-tailing it ( into the brush. 1 The bull was not injured in the 1 fracas. "He's the best darned watch-dog on the place," says ' Quigley. At a meeting held last week in the Fire Hall, the Hobble Creek Riding Club set their annual amateur ama-teur rodeo for June 24, 25 and 26, at the Spring Acres race track. Adding to the interest of the sports fiesta will be the selection of a rodeo quen from contestants from Springville and Mapleton. This queen will rule over the rodeo events and will be selected on the costume, horsemanship, personality person-ality and horse. Any girls interested inter-ested in entering the queen contest are reminded to prepare now for the queen judging later on. Reminded that last year's show drew much favorable applause from sport fans of the rodeo, this year's show should prove to be equally outstanding and larger. Stock for the rodeo will be furnished fur-nished by Morgan's Rodeo Shows. |
