Show WOMEN'S CLUB UNION OPPOSED AT MEETING ST. LOUIS, Mo., July 15. Opposition to ! the proposed merger of the business and I professional women's clubs of the country ; into one centrally directed body developed , here today at the conventions of Women's Association of Commerce of the United States and the National Women's Busi-I Busi-I ness committee. J The opposition was voiced by western 1 delegates of the latter organization under ! the leadership of Miss Pearl Rail, a Los j Angeles newspaper woman. Many members mem-bers of the former association are women of wealth and leisure who are not actively active-ly engaged in any business or profession.
