Show Kendrick Dangs, the author, reported today to-day upon his arrival here on the French line steamer E-spagne. Mr. Bangs, who has heeu making 'a two months' study of relief work for the committee, declared de-clared the majority of the peasants are homeless, while most of the others are without money and with only a scanty food supply to tide them over the winter. Mr. Bangs asserted the committee was helping the farmers of tiie region by the distribution of seed, the loan of farm tractors to till their soil, and the distribution dis-tribution of chickens, goats and rabbits. 100,000 PEASANTS DEPENDENT ON U.
