Show T1NTIC PAYMASTER TO BEGIN OPERATION Work on the Tin tic Paymaster shaft will commence tomorrow, according to H. G. Snyder, secretary of the executive committee. The new electric ally driven double-drum hnlst, capable of reaching to a. depth of 1500 feet, and five-drill compressor com-pressor have been installed and will be subject to Mr. Snyder's approval on his visit to the mine today. Adequate water for culinary and mining purposes will be piped from springs 17.000 feet distant. The old shaft, which has been sunk to a depth of 230 feet, will be the site of the new shaft. Seventy feet more of sinking should bring the shaft through the porphyry overflow to the lime. At a considerable dppth the intersection of an east-west crosshreak and a north fissure will be encountered, It Is thought. The company plans to sink to a depth of 1000 feet or more if necessary. |
