Show AREA OBITUARIES V . ) Cecil Reid Cecil Prince Reid, 81, died March 26,1984 at Springville. She was born at Panguitch, June 1, 1902, to Joseph Oscar and Agnes Heywood Prince. She was married to Omer Harps Reid, Salt Lake LDS Temple February 21, 1929. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving two full time missions to Ontario, Canada and to Cookeville, Tenn. She also served four stake missions. She served as Relief Society president for many years, in the MIA and as an officer in various LDS Church auxiliaries. She taught school in Milford and Panguitch and was a member and officer of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. Survivors: husband, Springville; daughters and son, Mrs. Gordon (Gwen) Harley and O. Arthur Reid, both Springville; Mrs. Keith (Veda) Welch, West Valley City; Mrs. Kay Don (Lois) Frost, Abquaiq, Saudi Arabia; Mrs, Stanley (Kathryn) IlobinsQnRoy; brother, and sisters, Mrs: Delia Houston;' St. George; Mrs. Grace Brown, Pioneer, Calif.; Mrs. Sarepta Jennings, Price; Rulon Price, Panguitch; and Mrs. Florence Alvey, Escalante; 28 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Interment was in Springville Evergreen Cemetery. |
