Show AREA OBITUARIES Vida Moore Stoker BOULDER CTTY.SfEV, Vida Moore Stoker, 78, 'Boulder City, Nev., died March 25, 1984, in Henderson, Nev. She was born Jan. 16, 1906, Henrieville, to Elijah and Amelia Nielsen Moore. She was married to Herbert Willard Stoker, June 14, 1923, Manti LDS Temple. She resided in Panguitch from 1941 to 1967, when she moved to Boulder City. Survivors: husband, Boulder City; sons, Wade, Potomac, Md.; Douglas, LaMar, both Boulder City; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday in the Boulder City, Nev. LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Monte Morris, officiating. Douglas Stoker offered the family prayer and Nancy Murphy played prelude and postlude music. Sterling Stoker gave the invocation. Speakers were Harvey Moore, Sylvia Manzanares, and Bishop Morris. Music included a womens ensemble; piano solo by Stormie Stoker and a vocal solo by Heide Dixon. The benediction was by Mitchell Stoker. Interment was in the Junction Cemetery Friday, directed by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Wayne Stoker offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Mitchell Stoker, Sterling Stoker, Kent Stoker, - Kenneth Stoker, Birch Moore and Frankie Moore. |
