Show John Ford Claims Marianne Hansen in LDS Temple Rites performed in the Manti LDS Temple on January 19 united Marianne Hansen and John H. Ford in marriage. Elder John D. Rogers officiated of-ficiated at the single ring ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin J. Han- sen of Cedar are the parents of the bride, and the bridegroom bride-groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Ford of Richfield. The newlyweds were honored honor-ed at a reception in Cedar City on January 19 and at an open house in Richfield on January 27. The bride wore a dress featuring fea-turing a white brocade bodice with a scalloped neck, long bell sleeves, an empire waist, and a skirt of white slipper satin. Matching applique on the skirt and front of the bodice added the final touches. The shoulder-length veil was attached to a pearl crown. She carried a bouquet of white carnations with a gardenia. Maid of Honor was Bonnie Nelson. The bridesmaids were VerLee Pickering, Tauna Mos-dell, Mos-dell, Kathryn Ford, and Mel-anie Mel-anie Hansen. The attendants wore pink brocade dresses with A-line skirts and short sleeves. A junior bridesmaid, Lauri Hansen wore an orchid pleated dress with long sleeves. Lavar Ford stood as best man for his brother, and the ushers were Brent Nielson, Alma Al-ma Christensen, John Hansen, and Nathan Hansen, Mrs. Hansen was dressed in gold and beige and Mrs. Ford wore pink. The newlyweds are making their home in Cedar City where he is a sophomore majoring ma-joring in education at CSU. |
