Show Hilda Tullis Dies In Ogden, Funeral Saturday Word was received here on Tuesday morning of the death of Mrs. Hilda Tullis, 73, who passed away at the Dee Memorial Mem-orial Hospital in Ogden. She has spent the winter with her children in the Ogden area for the past several years. Mrs. Tullis will be brought to Parowan for burial with funeral services - to be held in the First-Second Ward chapel cha-pel at 1 p. m. Saturday. There will be a viewing from 7 to 9 p. m. Friday at the Southern Utah Mortuary and from 11 a. m. to 1 p. m. Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Tullis, 189 W. Center in Parowan. Paro-wan. Hilda Hulet Tullis was born Sept. 8, 1894 to Charles Franklin Frank-lin and Harriet Maria Dalley Hulet at Summit, Utah. She was married to George Thomas Tho-mas Tullis Sept. 19, 1914, and the marriage was solemnized in the St. George Temple in 1916. They lived in Pinto and New Castle where four of their children were born, then they moved to Parowan where she has lived since and where she was active in the Relief Society Socie-ty and Primary organizations of the LDS Church. She had been an employee of Utah Parks Company. Her husband preceded her in death by a number of years and she is survived by five children, Richard and Clayton Tullis, Parowan, Mrs. C. W. (Zelma) Elliott, Roy, Utah; Mrs. Kent (Marcella) Mitchell, Ogden, and Mrs. Norman (Donna) Tattersall, of Kearns. Also surviving are brothers, Charles Hulet, New Castle, Clair and Claude Hulet and a sister, . Mrs. Howard (Cora) Ward, Parowan. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. |
