Show NEW HARMONY NEWS NOTES Dr. and Mrs. Kent Morris and family of San Di-ego, Cal. spent several days here and j in Cedar City visiting relatives. Clara Grant returned to San Diego with the Morris' for a ! two weeks visit. Beth Schmutz has returned from Hawaii and is visiting in , Valejo, Calif, with Dr. and ! Mrs. Melvin Schmutz and family. fam-ily. Laureda Gordon and daughter daugh-ter of Beryl visited here one day last week with Mr. and Mrs. Reed Prince. Judy Hargrave went to Provo Pro-vo Friday with the Cedar City High School A capello Choir to sing at BYU. Mr. and Mrs. Philden De-Mille De-Mille and family of Henderson, Hender-son, Nev. spent Friday and Saturday here with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Prince. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Kelsey and Marvin spent Saturday in St. George. Mrs. Vada Grant Mr. and Mrs. Tom Pearce spent the week end visiting in Las Vegas, Nev. with Mr. and Mrs. Jerrold Pearce and Jay Psarce and also with Mr. and Mrs. Richard Cripps and family. fam-ily. The Pearces stopped in Toquerville to pick up Fern Kleinman who came home with them for a visit. Mrs. Margaret Duffin of Rupert, Ru-pert, Idaho has been here the past week visiting relatives. A town birthday party was held Friday evening in the ward cultural hall, honoring the adults who had celebrated birthdays during the month of January. Honored guests of th.3 evening were James L. Prince, who was 81, Jan. 1, Emma G. Neilson who was 79 Jan. 14' and Sheldon B. Grant who was 52 Jan. 25. Other adult town members who celebrated cele-brated birthdays in January but were not in attendance at the party were Lurene P. Taylor Tay-lor and Clara Grant. |
