Show 1 WHAT'S HAPPENING r-Cedar r-Cedar High School vCJ By Neal Ahlstrom XH, I ' I Cedar High School Activities Vary Four faculty members of Cedar Ce-dar High are planning to attend at-tend a special conference on individualized instruction held this weekend in Denver. The conference is sponsored by the Kettering Foundation with the purpose of sharing ideas. Those attending the conference confer-ence are Principal Clair Morris, Mor-ris, Arliss Jensen, Kent Bishop and Glade Sorenson. Each will speak on a different area of the program being followed at Cedar High. The Moh-ey Tawa performed Monday evening in the CSU fieldhouse during the half-time half-time of the game between CSU and Grand Canyon College. They highlighted their performance per-formance by forming the large "T!" of the CSU T-Birds. The student for last week was an outstandinfg senior, Deward Murray. Deward has one of the most technical and demanding jobs in the high school. He is the execellent manager of the stage crew. Monday the Cedar High wrestling team had two matches and came out victorious victor-ious in both. They beat Pan-guitch Pan-guitch 40-13 and slipped by Millard 26-22. The Sweetheart Assembly, written and directed by Jody Williams will be held tomorrow tomor-row morning after the magical hour of twelve midnight in which the members of a wax museum come to life. Queenic, played by Katie Smart, discusses dis-cusses Peony the Knight's, or Tom Brough's negligent gal-laantry. gal-laantry. Various groups try to solve Peony's problem as he goes on a Quest to prove his bravery. Finally, he asks Monster Mon-ster Mashie Sherie Paine to the Sweetheart's Ball only to find out that it is a girl-ask-boy affair. As a turn about, Monster Mon-ster asks Peony to the ball just as the characters turn back to wax images. The Swetheart's Ball sponsored spon-sored by the Pep Club will be held Saturday night at 9 p. m. in the CHS gymnasium. Chairmen Liz Corry and Katie Smart have selected blue and white as the colors. Couples will dance to stereo-taped mu-ic. mu-ic. Tickets are $2 per couple. |
