Show oo ADELIA ANN BISHOP, NOTED PIONEER, DIES Salt Lake, Dec. 30 Adelia Ann Bishop Pratt, S7 years of age, widow of Orson Pratt, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. John S. Edwards, Ed-wards, in Sugarhouse ward, yester day afternoon at 1:1a o clock Mrs Pratt was a pioneer of 1851, coming to Salt Lake with her husband hus-band by ox team after his first trip here. She was born In Crown Point. 1 3 x county, N. Y., November 6, 1826, and was the daughter of Johi I' and Lucy Goff Bishop. She was married to Orson Pratt in Xauoo December 13, 1S44. by Heber C. Kimball. Kim-ball. Mrs Pratt Is survived by five of her six children. They are Lorum Pratt of Fredonla, Coconina county, Ariz.; Lorus Pratt, Mrs. John S. Edwards, Ed-wards, Mrs. Ashton Nebeker, and Mrs John A. Silver, all of Salt Lake The other child was Mrs. Zina Pratt Bishop, wife of Justice F. M Bishop Forty-six grandchildren and eighty great grandchildren survive. Funeral arrangements will not be completed until woru ;s received from Lorum Pratt, living in Arizona. rr |
