Show BURGLARS RAID THE DRAMILL BOOK STORE The Bramwel Book and Stationery store was burglarized last night. The burglars secured between 16 and 20 dozen fountain pens, valued at about $60 and $5. GO in cash. The entrance was through the front door, which was opened with a key and the first evidence that the place had been entered was discovered by night Patrolman Marlln The officer tried the doors a number of times during dur-ing the early evening and found everything ev-erything all right, but while making the round at 2 o'clock, his suspicion was drawn to the place by foot-prints In the snow which led to and from the store door He tried the door and it opened. Sergeant Charles Lavne was called and made an investigation He telephoned Mr. Bramwell and was requested to look in the cash-register Mr. Bramwell usually leaves $.r i.r a little more money ln the register. Sergeant Layne found that the monpi was gone and when Mr. Bramwell arrived ar-rived on the scene, a few minutes later, lat-er, a thorough Investigation was made. In speaking 0f the affair this morn Ing, Mr Bramwell said that when he entered the 8tore he went first to the fountain pen case. It was open and a dozen and a half of Wirt and Water man pens were misslne.
