Show W.G. WILSON BRINGS SUIT FOR DAMAGES William G. Wllaoa has commenced suit In the dlBtrit court against the Ogden Rapid Transit company to recover re-cover $7,500, alleged damages for the destmction of trees and other property prop-erty on the plaintiff's premises at the Hermitage In Ogden canyon, along the right of wav of the canyon railway The plaintiff alleges that the de-fondant de-fondant company In 1910 and 1911 destroyed a number of trees and shrubbery which o to beautify the Hermitage premises and that by flll-Injr flll-Injr the river with trees and other debris. cauBed the old wood bridge across the river, on tho road leading to the Hermitage hotel to bo clogged backing the water up to such an extent ex-tent that the bridge was washed out and destroyed. It 1b also claimed that by virtue "of the overflow of water, the grounds in tho grove along the river were greatly damaged. For somo time past an effort has been made to get a settlement on tho claim made by the plaintiff, but the parties have not been able to agree on the amount of damages. oo |
