Show oo CELEBRATION OF , JACKSON DAY Salt Lake, Doc. 30 United States Senator Francis G Newlands of Nevada Ne-vada or former Governor Jaxnes II Hawley of Idaho will bo the principal orator of the Jackson day banquet to be held by the Democrats of Utah at the Hotel Utah on January 8 The committee on speakers Is In communication with both of these Democratic leaders and feel.; sure that one of the two, and possibly both will accept the invitation to be present pres-ent and speak at the banquet. The five minute limit for speeches will apply ap-ply only to the locat speakers and not to either Senator Newlands or Governor Hawley The other speakers speak-ers will be selected from among the best oratorical talent of the Democratic Demo-cratic party In the state. Chairman T. F. Thomas, who has supervision of the Jackson day banquet, ban-quet, yesterday announced a ticket committee, which will have charge of the sale of banquet tickets to Democrats Dem-ocrats In all sections of Utah. This committee will also make an effort to secure special railway rates in order or-der to insure a large attendance ot out-of-town Democrats.
