Shelby Lisonbee Goes To Panama Mr. an dMrs. Shelby Lisonbee Lison-bee received a telephone call from their son, Ronald, at Fort Ord, Calif., saying he was being sent to Panama Canal on June 7. Ronald has been taking a course in Leadership the past eight weeks at Fort Ord. His wife and small snn, who have been at Pacific Grove, Calif, the past month, will return here after his departure for the Canal Ca-nal Zone. J. R. Clayburn, Mrs. Helen Neilsen, Darwin and Edna Neil-sen, Neil-sen, Mr. and Mrs.. Reed Clay-burn Clay-burn spent Memorial Doy at Midway. Mr. and Mrs. Ward Johnson and family, of Provo, spent the weekend here visiting with relatives, rel-atives, v Mr. and Mrs. Joe Clayburn and boys spent Memorial Day at Myton at the home of Mrs. Clayburn's mother, Mrs. Guy Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bigelow, of Lapoint, were Soturday overnight over-night guests of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Taylor. On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Bigelow, Mrs. Roy Taylor and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Nor-man Long, of Duchesne, motored motor-ed to Moroni to spend Memorial Memor-ial Day. Mr. and Mrs. Thure Carlson and family, of Roosevelt, spent Sunday with their parents, Mr.-and Mr.-and Mrs. Earl Gail. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Meyer and family and Mrs. Jane Murphy Mur-phy motored to Woodland to spend Memorial Day. Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Murphy and daughter, Kathleen, spent Sunday in American Fork. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Beal on Sunday Sun-day were: Mr. and Mrs. Victor Barbarie and son, Allen, Mrs. Stella Larribee Mr. and Mrs. Reed Cossie, of American Fork. Jessup Johnson, of Duchesne, was a dinner guest at the Shelby Shel-by Lisonbee home, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Smith visited Thursday at Utahn ward with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Abplanalp. Mrs. Abplan-alp Abplan-alp has been very ill. Mrs. Edith Brady and daughter, daugh-ter, Carol Ann, and Mrs. Alice Warren, of Vernal, went to Provo, Saturday, to spend Memorial Mem-orial Day. Mrs Jack Gingell, of Myton, and Mrs. Fannie Jolley, of Salt Lake City, visited Saturday afternoon af-ternoon with Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee. Lis-onbee. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Walters and family, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend here with Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm Walters. Leon helped his father take his cattle to the summer range, while here. Mr. and Mrs. George Brun-dage, Brun-dage, Jr., of Price, spent Memorial Mem-orial Day here. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee were: Mr. and Mrs. Frank Morrell and girls, of Duchesne, and Mrs. Elsie El-sie Dean, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Wellington and Mrs. Elizabeth Christensen, of Salt Lake City, were callers of the Lisonbees also'. Visitors at the Lisonbee home on Monday were: Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Pease and family, of West Jordan, Mrs. Lynn Dean, of Myton, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Lisonbee and daughter, Mary Lee, of Bluebell. Blue-bell. Visitors at the home of Mrs. Chastie Neilson, Sunday were: Mr. and Mrs. Bert Coleman and family, of Heber. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Shields and little daughter.
