OPEN HOUSE EVENT HONORS PETERSENS Approximately one hundred and thirty guests called at the E. J. Nixon residence last Friday Fri-day night when an open house event was held in honor of Mr. ' and Mrs. Melvin Petersen, who are leaving to make their home in Provo. A musical program was presented pre-sented during the evening by the folowing entertainers: two violin solos by Mrs. Alma Wills, accompanied by Mrs. Garth Gardner; vocal selections, Mrs. Gardner, accompanied by Miss Marilyn Anderson; vocal trio, Mrs. Ralph Shields, Mrs. Wen-zel Wen-zel Luke and Mrs. Mel Petersen, Peter-sen, accompanied by Mrs. Gardner; Gard-ner; quartet, Dwain Buchanan, Allan and Ned Gines and Mel Petersen, accompanied by Mrs. Gardner. A book was presented to the honored couple and signed by the guests.
