Show Boulder News LeNora LeFevre Elaine Roundy's daughters, Claudia, Camille, and Roberta, Salt Lake City came to go with their mother to Aunt Dena Alvey's funeral in Escalante. Mr. and Mrs. Vard Coombs were in Cedar City on business. Burke Haven, Salina came for the horse races in Escalante and to see his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mac LeFevre. Elaine Roundy received word that her son Wendell suffered a fractured leg when thrown from a bronco. He had to have surgery and hopes to leave the hospital soon. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Haws and Candance and Ryan went to Provo to see some of their family. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Church went to Tropic for Dallen Baugh's missionary testimonial May 5. Elaine Roundy went to Hatch for the 50th anniversary celebration sponsored by Garkane Power Co. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Jepsen, Kanab and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Boyd, Hanksville came to spend Mothers Day with Mr. and Mrs. Neal Jepsen. Larry Davis is spending his vacation in Old Mexico among the ancient ruins. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Hardy went to Provo to see his parents. Mr. and Mrs. Max Behunin and LeFair Hall were in Richfield on business. Mr. and Mrs. Kim Bundy are caretakers at the Stucki Ranch. Billy Jones came to open the Branding Wheel Cafe. It will be open until after deer season. Speakers in sacrament meeting were Elma Jean Morgan and Debbie Petty; a duet by Ida Church and Elaine Roundy. The Sunday School program was presented by the Primary organization. Judie Davis and children Stacy, Sean, Heather and Jennifer gave talks honoring their grandmother. |
