Show Panguitch High School Senior Receives Honor Panguitch High School senior Anna Yazzie was asmong is seniors from six participating Utah and Arizona high schools taking part in graduation cermonies held recently at Southern Utah State College. They were on campus for their biannual Upward Bound On-campus Weekend. Miss Yazzie, was among several honored for her high grade point average, a 3.6. She is on the honor roll at PIIS, was named Outstanding Business Student for two years, Outstanding Geography Student, and Outstanding Art Student. She was a Sterling Scholar in business and recently was named third runner-up in the Utah Miss Indian Princess Contest. She has served as Upward Bound president, Student Council secretary, a delegate to Governor's Week, member of the Pep Club and Future Homemakers of America, was a SUSC Vocational Days participant and a basketball team member for two years. She plans to attend SUSC in the fall v here she will major in business and secretarial courses. During the three-day weekend on- campus activity for Upward Bound students, a variety of workshops and activities were held. In addition to fun-filled evenings and a special graduation banquet at the Sugar Loaf Restaurant in Cedar City, students took part in workshops on career evaluation, career choices, and career exploration.
