Show ( ftREfl OBITUARIES Dicy Coombs Dicy Coombs Funeral services were held for Dicy Elnora Woolsey Barker Porter Coombs May 11, 1985 in the Escalante LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Gerald Johnson officiating. She was born in Escalante to James Brigham Woolsey Jr. and-Dicy Elnora Young Woolsey. She married Robert Barker May 17, 1916 in Escalante. He died Dec. 1, 1918. Marriage solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple Oct. 18, 1923. She married Hyrum Adelbert Porter Jan. 16, 1921. He died May 23, 1946. She married Hyrum Ephraim Coombs May, 1961 in Escalante. He died April 2, 1975. She was a homemaker her entire life. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving in several positions. She served two years as a mission cook in the Southwest Indian Mission in Gallup, New Mexico. She was locally famous for her quilts. Survivors: children, Mrs. Du Wayne H (Glenna Barker) Banks, Escalante; Robert D Barker, Bountiful; Owen Ray Porter, American Fork; Mrs. Ed (Phyllis Porter) Jarrett, Salt Lake City; step son Vernon G. Porter, Mt. Pleasant; step daughter Mrs. Vera Porter Young, Salt Lake City; 16 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; brothers Arden Woolsey, Cedar City; and James Emil Woolsey, Springville. Preceded in death by two step sons, Orland "Whitey" Porter and Gerald "Jack" Porter. At the funeral the Family Prayer was offered by Robert D Barker. Prelude and postlude music was offered by Susan Wilson. Invocation was offered by Steven A. Barker and benediction was given by J. Kevin Barker. Speakers were Douglas Banks, Du Wayne H Banks and remarks by Bishop Lynn Gates. Musical numbers were performed by Marlene Haws, Deon Alvey and Geraldine Liston; Lynn and DeLane Griffin; and the Singing Mothers. Pallbearers were Douglas Banks, Robert Banks, J. Kevin Barker, Steven A. Barker, Shawn Porter and Neil Banks. Honorary pallbearers were Jef-fery W. Banks, Jared Banks, Jeremy Wilford, Du Wayne H Wilford, Nathan Banks, Todd Banks, Andrew S. Barker, Matthew Barker, Jonathon S. Barker, Glendon Lowder, Zachary Morrill, Tyler J. Morrill, Joshua R. Morrill, Riley C. Morrill, Aaron Banks, Joshua Banks, Micah Banks and Matthew Banks. Compassionate services were prepared by the Escalante Ward Relief Society. Interment was in the Escalante Cemetery, under the direction of the Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Owen Ray Porter dedicated the grave. Rose R. Bee be Rose R. Beebe CIRCLEVILLE Rose Anna Barnson Beebe, 83, Circleville, died May 12, 1985, in a Bountiful con-' valescent center. Born June 3, 1902, Junction, Utah to Carl Peter and Jessie White Barnson. Married Carl George Beebe, Nov. 2, 1921, Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member, LDS Church, serving in many auxiliary positions. Survivors: Husband, Circleville; son, four daughters, Mrs. Helen Davis, Mrs. Edward L. (Joanne) Wood, both Bountiful; Mrs. Jack (Jessie) Bailey, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Clem C. (Colleen) Allen, Provo; Ronald Carl Beebe, Escalante; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; sister Mrs. Maude Peterson, California.
