Grades two and four held their exercises exer-cises in the morning and all other grades in the afternoon A great deal of credit Is due teachers and pupils for the painstak ing manner in which the dramas music and recitations were given In the even Ing the opera house was crowded with relatives and friends of the graduating class which consisted of thirteen young ladles and four young gentlemen The stage was beautifully decorated with palms potted plants screens etc and set out as a modern parlor and the young ladles in their white dresses and the young men In the usual black dress suits made a very pleasing picture The line programme was attentively listened to and all acquitted themselves with honor At the close a short address was given bv Professor Smiley of the State university
