Show MRS. JENNIE COX IS CALLED BY DEATH Special to The Tribune. MAMMOTH, Sept. 30. Mrs. Jennie Cox, wife of Samuel Cox, for thirty years a resident of Mammoth, was found dead in her bed at 8 o'clock yesterday morning. Mrs. Cox was in apparently good heauth when she retired last night. Heart disease dis-ease Is presumed to have caused her death. Mr. Cox left here recently for the northwest north-west with the intention of purchasing a farm. He was last heard of in Portland, Port-land, but it is not known where he is at this time. Every possible effort is being made to find him and advise him of his wife's death. Mrs. Cox was born In England fifty-two fifty-two years ago and came to Mammoth with her husband in 18S9. In addition to her husband, she Is survived sur-vived by one son and one daughter. |
