Show BOY SCOUTS RETURN FROM ENCAMPMENT Special to The Tribune. POCATELLO, Idaho, Sept. 30. The boy scouts of St. Anthony's procathe-dral, procathe-dral, known in local scout circles as troop No. 4, have returned from an encampment en-campment at Shoshone, where three days were spent on the banks of Wood river, about one mile from the town of Shoshone. Sho-shone. During the encampment the boys met a number of athletic organizations of surrounding sur-rounding towns in track and f'eld events, baseball and other sports, and the Poca-teilo Poca-teilo boys, under the direction of Scout-. Scout-. master Pat Phelan, made a fine record in the sports, carrying off all the honors in the various events. The encampment was near a famous ice cave, and the boys were taken on an exploration trip through the mysterious cavern, which extends to a great depth underground, and derives its name from its cool atmosphere, even in the heat of summer. It was the first 'outing of a Pocatello troop of scouts and proved most successful, success-ful, according to Mr. Phelan. |
