The dull routine of the peace-making grind at Hotel de Crillon will be eased considerably con-siderably tomorrow when Maxim's, just around the corner, opens up its afternoon tango teas. Terosichorean relaxation so conveniently con-veniently situated is exp:ct$ft to be a big boon for the horde- of peace secretaries, attaches and clerks who occupy the 300 rooms of the Crillon. Heretofore, they found it difficult to get away to the Montmartre during the afternoon. Now that Maxim's is showing a flash of life during the afternoon, however, it is expected anyone will j be able to do a jig around the cor- i ner, have a cocktail, dance a fox- J trot or two, and then dash back to the Crillon. |
