Show LEOPARDS WILL HAVE FOOTBALL ASSEMBLY An assembly will be held at the East high school tomorrow morning for the purpose of arousing the spirit and enthusiasm en-thusiasm of the students and to practice; songs and yells for the football games with the West high in the afternoon and Jordan high school on Friday. D. A. Callahan will speak to the student stu-dent body. The students will be led by Lennox Murdoch, yellmaster. Harden1 Whitney, captain of the East high Leopards, Leop-ards, will speak to the school, and Lon Kump, M. Henderson, Dyer, Taufer, Officer, Of-ficer, Chandler, Pap worth, Armstrong, Jewkes, Gillespie, Meyres, Livingston, Anderson, An-derson, Smith and Parkenson, who are other members of the football squad, will also make short speeches. Captain Lara P. Good, assistant military mili-tary instructor of the East high R. O. T. C., will be presented to the student body and Reginald Graham will render a saxophone solo. Others on the program! are Miss Marjorie Billings, who will talk i on the "Girls' Point of View on Ath- 1 letics," and Miss Neva Clegg, president! of the Girls' Athletic association, who; A will talk on the "H, S A. G." 'if1t. The East and West high second teams 4 , will play Thursday afternoon on the East , high gridiron, and on Friday the East high Leopards will tangle with the Jordan Jor-dan high school on Cummings field. The I kickoff will be at 4 o'clock sharp. I |
